We missed you last month! I don't know about you, but we were busy celebrating the best of what April has to offer: April Fools Day, Earth Day, Record Store Day, Hug a Friend Day, Pet Owner's Day (This was a bust. All 3 cats forgot.), International Pillow Fight Day, No Housework Day, National Sibling Day, Arbor Day, and National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day (too often celebrated by Gridwork). We also threw in a few hoorays for Passover and Easter
Nahhh....As you might have guessed these aren't real reasons we didn't make it into your inbox last month. The truth is we were preoccupied with client work. It's just the reality sometimes. Now, you & I both know that we need to party hard next April. Who’s throwing the No Housework Day party? I definitely want to help you not clean.
Now it’s May! We’re back on track! And here's a few of our recent and favorite Internet discoveries.
Holy shit. It’s really happening.
Google recently wrote a blog post about advancements in its self-driving car. It included a remarkable video on how well it can detect thousands of unpredictable situations such as pedestrians crossing the street, street work zones, or a cyclist making gestures that indicate a possible turn. Similarly revolutionary, check out this video for Solar Roadways.
We love keeping up on this innovative technology and exploring its impact on transportation as we know it. It’s wild to imagine these becoming more common! Perhaps it will mean less buses and trains, local delivery enhancements, a shift in the vehicle market...a transportation transformation. Whoa!

How to sneak your cat into work
Check out the stunning CATable, bound to make a workspace far more beautiful, and with plenty of spaces for you to hide your cat while at work. Fortunately, my cat is my coworker. And a lazy one. If I had this table, I’m sure it would help boost my productivity. No more afternoons struggling to get Blanche off my keyboard.
Breaking (new) news (sites)
Two celebrity journalists have escaped the newsroom cages of their ancient newspaper overlords and reemerged as beautiful online butterflies. Vox is gorgeous news site from Ezra Klein that does a superb job of incorporating graphics, analysis and statistics into it’s site. Also, Nate Silver, who is known for his accurate predictions during the Obama 2012 election, launched FiveThirtyEight a few months ago.
Lastly, if, by chance, you missed this exceedingly amusing video, I feel it’s absolutely necessary to share with you, Tiny Hamster Eats Tiny Burritos.
