This remark­able orga­ni­za­tion advo­cates for the rights of home renters. From repairs to evic­tions to get­ting your deposit back, they play a vital role in the bal­ance of pow­er between land­lords and ten­ants. As ten­ants our­selves for much of our adult lives, this project spoke to us on a per­son­al level. 

With a new exec­u­tive direc­tor full of ener­gy, they approached Grid­work to revamp their web­site. The cen­ter­piece of the updat­ed site is a com­pre­hen­sive legal resource library to help reduce the amount of hands-on sup­port for con­stituents with less com­plex prob­lems. Their audi­ence is dis­pro­por­tion­ate­ly poor, mar­gin­al­ized and often in the mid­dle of a major life cri­sis, so we approached the work with an abun­dance of empathy.
